Welcome to a calm and sensory nature experience at Straumen Gård.
This experience begins at Straumen Gård, beautifully situated between fjord and mountains on Helgeland. From the farm, we walk with the professional Yoga instructor Leammuid Biret Rávdna into the forest, where the day opens with Yoga with Nature. A gentle practice inspired by Sámi philosophy, where humans are seen as an integrated part of nature’s cycle, not separate from it.
Set in the forest, the yoga session invites you to slow down and reconnect through breath, gentle movement and mindful presence. Please dress according to the weather and bring something to sit on.
After yoga, you enjoy a homemade lunch surrounded by calm nature and accompanied by the farm’s curious alpacas.
We then continue our experience with a gentle alpaca walk down towards the fjords. The pace is slow and relaxed, with time for photos, interaction with the alpacas and taking in the surrounding landscape.
The experience lasts approximately 4 hours and is suitable for all levels.
To ensure a calm and high-quality experience, the group size is limited to a maximum of 12 participants.
The experience includes yoga, lunch and an alpaca walk as a group. The Alpacas will be shared amongst the group.
Meeting point:
Parking lot at Alpakkaskogen, Straumen Gård (Utskarpen)
Please make sure to arrive at the agreed time.
Weather conditions:
The activity may be adjusted or rescheduled in case of heavy rain or strong wind. Alpacas thrive best in calm weather conditions.
What to bring:
Dress according to the weather, as the experience takes place outdoors.
Wear soft, comfortable clothes suitable for yoga, and bring something to sit on during the session.

Discover a hidden gem in Helgeland's archipelago – Straumen Gård in Utskarpen, 30 kilometers from the Arctic Circle town of Mo I Rana – a small and intimate farmstead where the fjord reflects the mountains and nature embraces you from all sides. In this peaceful setting, you can experience farm life year-round, suitable for day visits or overnight stays for up to 10 guests.
The farm offers accommodation, meeting rooms, local food, and various activities such as alpaca safaris, foraging for wild edibles, birdwatching, fishing both by boat and from land. It also offers subscriptions for growing herbs and vegetables.
Right outside the door, you'll find a large natural outdoor area, perfect for fresh-air breaks, conversations around the fire pit, or simply enjoying the silence and the view.
Take a break from screens – place your phone in the mobile hotel and borrow an old-fashioned camera to capture the moments, in rhythm with nature.
