Welcome to a warm and immersive experience in the beautiful surroundings of Straumen Gård.
Your adventure begins as we walk into the alpaca forest, where the female alpacas graze peacefully among the trees. Here, you’ll have time to greet them, get close, and enjoy a calm and gentle introduction to the herd.
When we are ready to continue, we move on to meet the alpaca boys – curious and friendly companions who are ready to take us on a walk. Together, we set off on a peaceful journey through the forest and down towards the fjord.
Along the way, we take natural pauses to enjoy the quiet surroundings, the scenic views, and the special connection with the alpacas – perfect moments for photos and lasting memories.
The experience ends in a calm and grounding way, leaving you with a sense of closeness to both nature and animals – ideal for families, friends, and small groups looking for something truly authentic and memorable.

Duration: approx. 2 hours. The experience may be rescheduled in case of strong wind or rain – the alpacas decide the pace and mood of the day. There is a firepit available if you want to bring some of your own food to grill after the walk .

Discover a hidden gem in Helgeland's archipelago – Straumen Gård in Utskarpen, 30 kilometers from the Arctic Circle town of Mo I Rana – a small and intimate farmstead where the fjord reflects the mountains and nature embraces you from all sides. In this peaceful setting, you can experience farm life year-round, suitable for day visits or overnight stays for up to 10 guests.
