A slow paced and short tour around fjords on the Island of Kvaløy. We drive our minibus to visit beautiful fjords of Kvaløya, Håkøya island and the Tirpitz Memorial.
Depart from Tromsø Cruise Port by minibus and travel to Kvaløya Island, a scenic area known for its fjords, mountains, and coastal landscapes. Along the way, stop for photos near Kaldfjord and Ersfjord while your guide shares insights into local nature, wildlife, and Norwegian outdoor life.
Continue through the valley of Kattfjordeidet before taking a short café and toilet break. From there, drive towards the small island of Håkøya to visit the Tirpitz Memorial, dedicated to the German battleship that sank here during the Second World War.
After the visit, return to Tromsø and the original meeting point. The tour lasts approximately 4 hours. This tour welcomes wheelchair users and people with reduced mobility, and the team is prepared to guide guests with visual or hearing impairments while working to create a comfortable experience for neurodivergent guests as well.
