In the quiet of nature, where the cultural landscape opens up and the pace slows down, you’ll find an extraordinary place to stay. This is not somewhere you just spend a single night. The Birdhouse Cabin at Vestigården is created for those seeking more than just a place to sleep.

Here, you wake up to light streaming through large windows, with views of the fjord and forest. Nature is not just around you – it’s part of the experience. From the circular panoramic view, you can follow the shifting weather, light, and landscape throughout the day.

This is luxury in its most understated form. Thoughtful details and comfortable solutions give you a sense of being well cared for, while the surroundings invite calm and presence.

One of the highlights is the sunken bathtub – a place to completely unwind, letting the view and the silence do the rest. This is not about filling your time, but about giving it space.

The Birdhouse is designed to give you the freedom to create your own dream stay. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, time alone, or a stay with your closest friends, everything is arranged to offer a personal and authentic experience.

Welcome to a stay where simplicity feels like luxury – and where nature is the most beautiful room of all.

This is a place for those seeking: unique accommodation in Norway, a treetop cabin with a view, peace, nature, and presence, with sleeping space for up to 6 people (3 double beds), and an experience that stays with you long after you leave.

The cabin is located one hour from Trondheim Airport Værnes, and just 7 km from the nearest train station.

In addition to comfortable accommodation, Vestigården hosts various events and dining experiences at Stabburet – a pop-up venue showcasing local ingredients and talents.

Vestigården is the perfect destination for those who want to relax and create lasting memories with their loved ones.
